Connect Claude to your cards and balance with MCP
Add StableMesh as a remote MCP server in Claude or Claude Code, sign in with OAuth, and let your agent check balances, top up cards and freeze them.

Key takeaways
- StableMesh is a remote MCP server at https://mcp.stablemesh.io/mcp/sse. There is nothing to install.
- Sign-in is OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Each client asks for your approval before it can see your account.
- An agent can read your cards, balances and transactions, move USD between your balance and your cards, and freeze, unfreeze or rename a card.
- An agent cannot send money to an outside address, withdraw on-chain, open new cards, or see a full card number or CVV.
Most finance apps expect you to open a dashboard. StableMesh also lets your AI agent do the day-to-day for you. It can check balances, top up a card before a bill is due, and freeze a card you no longer need.
This works over the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard Claude and other agents use to call tools. Setup takes about two minutes.
Claude Code
Run:
claude mcp add --transport sse stablemesh https://mcp.stablemesh.io/mcp/sse
Then run /mcp inside Claude Code and sign in with your StableMesh account.
Claude on the web and desktop
- Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Paste
https://mcp.stablemesh.io/mcp/sse. - Click Connect, sign in to StableMesh, and approve access.
Any other MCP client
Most clients take a JSON entry like this one:
{ "mcpServers": { "stablemesh": { "url": "https://mcp.stablemesh.io/mcp/sse" } } }
What your agent can do
Every tool acts only on the signed-in user’s own account.
- See: your cards, card balances and transactions; your USD balance; your crypto assets; your deposit address; your fees and limits.
- Act: freeze, unfreeze or rename a card; move USD from your balance onto a card, or back off it.
What it cannot do
These limits are set by the server, not left to the agent’s judgment:
- Send money to an outside address or withdraw on-chain
- Open a new card. You do that in the app.
- See a full card number, CVV or expiry
- Touch anyone else’s account
So even if a prompt goes wrong, the worst an agent can do is move your own dollars between your own balance and your own cards. And any card can be frozen in one tap.
Prompts worth trying
What did I spend on my Meta Ads card this week?
Top up every card that is below $50 to $150.
Freeze the card called "Trial tools".
Show my deposit address for USDT, and tell me which network it is on.
For the full tool list, see llms.txt.
Questions people ask
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI clients such as Claude call tools on other services. StableMesh offers its account tools over MCP, so your agent can work with your cards directly.
Which clients work?
Claude Code, Claude on the web and desktop (as a custom connector), and any MCP client that supports remote SSE servers with OAuth.
Can the agent spend my money?
It can move USD from your balance onto your own cards, and back off them. It can't move money out of your account. Every card can only spend what is on it, and you can freeze any card at any time.
How do I revoke access?
Remove the connector or MCP server from your client. The client loses access to your account.
Not financial advice. Card acceptance is set by each merchant and card network; check the fees & limits before you rely on a card for a payment. Read as Markdown.
